AFS is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team and support our client in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

What you’ll do:

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems
Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to client management and internal customers
Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

What you’ll need:

Ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Experience performing Tier I/II troubleshooting for operating system
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA/Information Technology experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$96,200—$192,300 USD
