Meet the Team
As the Security Foundations Engineering team within the Platform Engineering organization, we own and operate foundational platform security components that enable secure management of secrets, auditing, cryptography, and compliance capabilities across our product portfolio. Our work aligns with internal and external security standards, industry best practices, and rigorous compliance requirements. We are a team of 10+ engineers working in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment, leveraging innovative technologies. Our customers include internal engineering teams as well as end users, and we support critical use cases that ensure the security, compliance, and functionality of our SaaS and On-Prem offerings. We build and maintain a fleet of cloud-based, highly available platform security services deployed across multiple geographic regions on multiple cloud service providers.
Your Impact
Build, test, debug, and maintain core security components and capabilities using Go (and/or C++) to support secure, reliable, and scalable product functionality. Deliver well-scoped features, fixes, enhancements, automation, and operational improvements from design through implementation and completion. Write clean, maintainable, and secure code with strong unit and integration test coverage to improve product quality, reliability, and compliance. Investigate product and production issues to identify root causes and contribute to durable fixes, while participating in 24/7 on-call support and broader Ops/SRE responsibilities to help ensure service availability and operational excellence. Collaborate with senior engineers, product management, support, and engineering partners to improve system behaviour, deliver customer value, and grow ownership over broader technical areas over time.

- Professional experience delivering and maintaining production software in Go and/or C++
- Solid foundation in software design, debugging, testing and secure coding principles
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux (including shell scripting), networking concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and learn unfamiliar parts of a system
- Experience adopting and applying GenAI tools across software engineering workflows
- Growth mindset, strong desire to learn, try new technologies, and take on new challenges
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, or Azure, along with DevOps practices and Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Experience with automation tools like Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipeline management
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including secrets management, auditing, cryptography, and compliance, with practical experience using HashiCorp ecosystem and cloud-native security services.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
