Parsons is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator who has extensive experience with Navy software systems. In this role you will get to support a high visibility Navy Program.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Manage and maintain system IT environments to ensure system availability and security compliance
- Installing, configuring, and updating system software and operating systems
- Implementing security measures to meet security compliance
- Managing user accounts and permissions
- Troubleshooting/ resolving system issues to minimize downtime
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Top-Secret clearance with SCI and ability to pass a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Minimum of 10 years or more of professional experience as a systems administrator for Navy software systems
- Master’s degree, or an authorized substitution for a bachelor’s degree plus four additional years of relevant experience
- Experience with Linux-based operating systems
- Experience with virtualization environments, including VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox
- Experience troubleshooting network connections
- Experience troubleshooting system configuration issues
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- PRIVAC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated experience with Cybersecurity best practices
- Experience working in secured or classified operating environments
Desired Qualifications:
- An active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly is preferred
- Experience supporting Navy programs, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, NIWC Atlantic
Security Clearance Requirement:
